WHERE WE ARE

"Palermo, safe haven of Peace,
rich treasure of Abundance,
perpetual seat of Justice,
the only shelter of Happiness,
sacred temple of Religion,
illustrious dwelling of Glory,
glorious Crown and mirror of the Kingdom"

GIROLAMO BRANCI, speech in defence of the city of Palermo, 1586

The residence is located in Piazza del Ponticello, in the ancient Albergheria district and in the heart of the historic center of Palermo. The name of the square preserves memory of the little bridge that until 1591 crossed the Kemonia (the "river of bad weather"), one of the streams that lapped the old city.
Numerous plaques in three languages (Italian, Arabic, Hebrew) indicate the names of the streets, testifying the multicultural soul of the district..

In the pulsating heart of the ancient streets but sheltered from its noise, the residence is located a few steps from the wonderful churches of Casa Professa, Santa Caterina, San Cataldo and the "Martorana", from Piazza Pretoria, the Quattro Canti, the suggestive market of Ballarò and the main places of interest in the city.

A strategic position to discover and explore the extraordinary history of Palermo on foot
